Variations on a desk lamp and wall sconce within a family of lights. The concept was to provide a dedicated place for a single thing - something that maybe had little importance except to the owner. Rather than take up extra space, this object could be better displayed and utilize the space within a light fixture.

XYZ Joint + Bedside Table

After designing a joint that connects to the X, Y, + Z axis using 3 identical pieces, a small bedside table is possible. The table can be assembled with no hardware, is held together with magnets, and can be disassembled and reassembeld in minutes with no compromise of structural integrity.

A full table setting including a bud vase, is intended for a small apartments with not much cupboard space. When not in use the stack could sit on a countertop or table.

A redesign prosepective suggests that the profile of the stack allude to the optical illusion of a vase and two faces.

Eight bottles reference the common recommendation to drink eight glasses of water per day. The accompanying brochure provides data and explanations of water poverty and the disparity of water availability across the globe.

Tape Dispensers


MassArt: Intro to Industrial Design

A pair of tape dispensers based on nesting bowls so that the dispenser can be spun 360°. The first holds up to three rolls of tape and the second holds a single roll. A universally sized cartridge is used in either and can hold a variety of tapes.
